Our client is a Service company looking to hire a UK IT Manager on a full time permanent position to be based either in Aberdeen or Runcorn. Therefore suitable candidates will be based in or near Aberdeen or Runcorn.

Due to the nature of the role, only those with the Right to Work in the UK should apply. Raeburn do not have the ability to provide visa sponsorship, therefore current valid ability to work in the UK is required.

1) Management of IT costs and budget
2) Ensures systems (hardware, networks, software) remain robust, reliable and fit for purpose with a 3 year look ahead at all times
3) Ensures all businesses critical systems and data have appropriate back-up with disaster recovery processes in place to ensure business continuity.
4) Meet with management teams in order to collect business requirements, including on-going projects, and drives delivery
5) Communicates and participates in decision-making with management and staff
6) Offers support to management with regard to IT requirements for operational and business service support.
7) Compiles statistic and management reports for business line management.
8) Ensures that Key Performance Indicates (KPI)s are followed up and met.
9) Contract handling and control (including management of any agreed SLAs) with external suppliers in conjunction with Procurement Manager
10) Implements and monitors (predefined) security standards.
11) Ensures all Group Guidelines are implemented and supports group initiated system rollouts
12) Supports Regional and Group management with IT projects and reporting
13) Support Digitalization Projects through active participation in technological and/or system change, providing technical support and leadership.
14) Recommends efficiency benefits through improvements in technology (hardware) and electronic processing

Qualifications and experience:
1) Proven track record in a similar role, in a fast paced work environment in a large organisation essential
2) Degree in relevant subject essential
3) Self-starter, team player and relationship builder with solid experience interacting with senior management essential
4) Commercial awareness and confidence to effectively delegate
5) Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines essential
6) Articulate with good verbal and written communication skills essential
7) Good organisational skills, customer and delivery focussed, operational and commercially focussed.
8) Good track record in large-scale complex projects including change management 9) 9)Projects with experience in a similar essential
