PRE-REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS:

§Cuttings Treatment Thermal Training Course
§City & Guilds or Equivalent Formal Training
§Compex Certified Modules EX 01, 02, 03, 04
§QUEST Level 1

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

§Education/Background in Electrical and/or Power Generation.
§Electrical Safety
§Clear understanding of LOTO and correct procedures
§Permit to Work, JSA, LWI, checklists awareness & Risk Assessment Training
§Excellent verbal and communications skills.
§Able to work under pressure

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE (IF NOT INCLUDED ABOVE):

§Minimum 2 years process equipment operations and repair.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

§Operation of the Thermal Unit in accordance with standard procedures
§Maximization of Thermal Unit efficiency through knowledge of process mechanics
§Contribute to troubleshooting problems that may rise during the operation of the Thermal Unit
§Perform equipment maintenance tasks
§Repair and replacement of electrical equipment as required
§Carry out sampling of feed material, discharge fluids and solids as specified by client contract
§Securing, Maintaining and verifying condition of all electrical tools
§Performing daily tasks assigned by the Senior Thermal Specialist
§Ensuring the areas around the Thermal Unit are kept clean and free of obstructions
§Ensuring all personnel in/around equipment wear the correct PPE
§Relaying all safety concerns to the Senior Thermal Specialist, CEC and/or HSE Officer
§Participation in pre-job safety meetings, HOC, HSE tours, JSA process and all other HSE initiatives as required

SUB-SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE (INTERPERSONAL / MANAGEMENT, ADMINISTRATIVE/MS OFFICE ETC.):

§Basic Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook

PERSONAL CIRCUMSTANCES / RELEVANT CONSIDERATIONS:

§Ability to work individually or as part of a close team, in various locations and environments, offshore and onshore

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:

§Flexible attitude regarding work scope and working hours as work patterns and hours may change as operations dictate.
§Flexible attitude to training and working on other ES Waste Management Equipment as requested.
