Our client is currently recruiting for a Systems Support Focal Point on a contract basis in Aberdeen.

Position Overview:
The Systems Support Focal Point role will cover the systems and associated processes that underpin the day to day SCM business of the client and will therefore take responsibility for ensuring SCM personnel are adhering to approved SCM practices.
The Focal Point position will report directly to the Procurement and Inventory Manager and will contribute significantly towards continuous improvement within the function.

Day to day support and training for all SCM systems.
Maintenance of the Contract system to ensure that the agreed process and methodologies are being adhered to and that the data integrity is maintained.
Provision of SCM Management reporting.
Management of user access and privileges for both systems.
Identification and delivery of all training requirements for SCM systems used by appropriate RSRUK personnel.
Systems audits to identify areas of non-compliance.

Key Duties:
Ensure the availability and the provision of support for all business critical SCM systems - MAXIMO and Contracts system.
Coordinate the maintenance of the Contract system in combination with the business stream Team Leads to ensure that the agreed process and methodologies are being adhered to and that the data integrity is maintained.
Ensure the provision of Management reporting associated with all SCM systems.
Ensure rigorous control exists in regard to the access and privileges for all users of SCM systems.
Coordinate and deliver all training requirements for SCM systems.
Conduct systems audits to identify areas of non-compliance.

Education attainment & Accreditation:
Ideally Graduate in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Computer Studies, Finance or other relevant subject or suitable equivalent experience through on the job training and development.
Post Graduate Diploma or Masters Degree in Supply Chain Management or Computer Studies.
Membership of CIPS.

Professional skills & experience:
Extensive experience with ERP/EAMS systems (specifically Maximo) and other associated SCM systems and their application, support, development and reporting capabilities.
Good experience of SCM operations in the Oil & Gas Industry preferably with an Operator or Tier 1 Contractor.
Specific experience of Oil & Gas Supply Chain Management in the UKCS and an understanding of the business requirements of operations, reservoir & wells and project support.
Experience of the overall P2P (Purchase to Pay) process as it applies to a UKCS Operator and the ability to author supporting documentation (procedures/work instructions etc.).
Experience in the development of training and coaching for the support and utilization of SCM systems.

Ability to travel to sites outside of Aberdeen - Peterhead, Flotta and offshore installations - as required by the business and undertake any medical or training courses required to complete the necessary travel
Ability to travel to supplier/contractor premises outside of Aberdeen and the UK - as required by the business.
