Job purpose
Required to manage technical, delivery, acceptance and operational aspects of subsea trees, tubing hangers wellheads and large diameter tubulars during development drilling, light well interventions and P&A campaigns.
Manage technical, delivery, acceptance and operational aspects of the delivery and installation of subsea well heads and x-mas trees during a drilling campaign including offshore installation.
Separately, provide technical and operation support for developing a strategy, equipment requirements, work scope and timeline to efficiently P&A.

ASPECTS OF THE JOB:
§Ensuring vendor meets technical specifications, quality, budget and delivery requirements for the drilling campaign.
§Plan, coordinate and supervise offshore recovery and installation of the subsea trees and wellheads.
§Work across organisations assessing relevant information to develop a forward looking subsea P&A work scope taking into account decommissioning needs for the infrastructure.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
§Manages vendor to ensure they meet technical, quality, budget and delivery requirements for the drilling campaign to protect rig schedule and first oil dates.
§Liaises with vendors and manufactures to deliver equipment to specification and schedule. Organize and supervises required acceptance testing.
§Plans, coordinates and supervises the offshore recovery and installation of the subsea trees and wellheads to ensure safe and efficient installation. Responsible for the Subsea Test Tree, IWOCS, Wellhead, rental tools and managing the rig specific interface for installation of the completion and related wellhead equipment.
§Develops a clear strategy, equipment requirements, work scope and timeline to efficiently P&A the subsea wells.
§Provides a source of in-house expertise on subsea wellheads and trees.
§Provides technical input into the suitability of different mobile offshore drilling units (MODU) and Light Well Intervention (LWI) for subsea well intervention. Assists with selection.

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Qualifications required:
§Offshore & medical certificates to travel offshore onto MODU, LWI, DSV or fixed installations.
§Qualified to degree level in a relevant discipline preferred.

Skills required:
§Good relationship and communication skills to work with operator and vendors.
§Good team player, dedicated, motivated, trust worthy and committed to delivering high quality work.
§Communication of procedures and troubleshooting in a concise and logical sequence.

Experience required:

§A minimum of ten years' experience in subsea tree & wellhead systems.
§Experience managing OEM delivery, inspections and testing of tree and wellhead systems (i.e. FAT, SIT).
§Experience planning and coordinating recovery and installation of subsea tree and wellhead systems.
§Offshore supervision experience deploying, installing and testing tree from a MODU.
§Offshore supervision experience on LWls and DSVs.

Specialised job knowledge:
§Experience with technical, delivery, acceptance and operational aspects with GENetco Horizontal tree and MS 700 Well Head.
§Offshore supervision with GENetco Horizontal tree and MS 700 Well Head.
§Experience with Cameron Vertical trees would be beneficial.
