Raeburn Group have an opportunity for a Senior Safety, Risk and Reliability Engineer to work with our client. This is a permanent opportunity based in London.

Working within the Subsea and Pipelines Front End Engineering Department, the Safety, Risk and Reliability Engineer will be involved in the development of front end engineering activities spanning from Concept Select to Basic Engineering/FEED and starting from the tendering phase.

Main duties/responsibilities of the job position include:
Contribute to tender preparation and development of fit-for-purpose, competitive proposals.
Participate in the execution of front end engineering studies.
Contribute to know-how development/retention, including development of discipline tools/procedures and transfer of lessons learnt.
Attend meetings with Client (e.g. design reviews, presentation of study results, etc.).

Minimum required skills and experiences:
Min. 10 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor/Master degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
System oriented mindset with good communication and team work skills.
Experience in working in multi-disciplinary teams.
Past involvement in the execution of front end engineering studies (tender and execution phase).
Good knowledge of subsea systems and related safety aspects.
Experience in Safety, Risk and Reliability engineering related tasks, with focus on subsea projects, such as:
o Conducting Risk Assessment, HAZIDs and HAZOPs sessions.
o Design Hazards identification and management.
o Risk analyses techniques, both qualitative and qualitative.
o Risk assessment matrix definition and risk register management.
o RAM analysis.
o Process safety (SIL verification, LOPA, etc.)
o FMECA Analysis and Structural reliability assessment (experience preferred).
Knowledge of International Safety Codes and Standards.
