Raeburn are currently handling a requirement for a Safety Excellence Manager to work with our oil and gas client based in Aberdeen (North) on a fixed term basis for 6 months. The Safety Excellence Manager will be required to lead the safety improvement programme and deliver safety excellence across the business.

Tasks:
1) Lead and develop the Safety Excellence Programme.
2) Organise the Safety Excellence Programme Governance Arrangements.
3) Chair the Weekly Safety Improvement Programme Committee.
4) Develop associated project HSEQ plans in conjunction with operational management, HSEQ Manager and associated HSEQ Advisors to deliver company business objectives.
5) Develop, promote and monitor compliance with HSEQ performance indicators that are used to measure the success of the Safety Improvement Programme.
6) Develop and manage HSE Communications and the flow of HSEQ information to Management and Employees on themes identified in the Safety Improvement Programme.
7) Develop Safety Leadership across the business and hold individuals accountable for their behaviours and actions in relation to safety improvement.
8) Drive the Behavioural Safety Programme ACT Safety as the spine of the Safety Improvement Programme.
9) Ensure risk management and hazard awareness processes and technical support procedures are robust, simple to follow and are being adhered to.
10) Produce & Deliver HSEQ Training to support the Safety Improvement Programme.
11) Manage internal and external relationships in particular with clients where safety performance has not been deemed as excellent.
12) Co-ordinate management visits and customer site audits to determine the penetration and adoption of the Safety Improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:
1) NEBOSH diploma or equivalent.
2) Experience within the industrial services sector and offshore industry.
3) Previous experience or improvement planning and change management.
