Our client now has an immediate requirement for a quality advisor to join their team on a basis. Candidates must have previous experience in a similar role to be considered for this position.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
To support the delivery of a quality service that achieves the requirements of the Client and complies with Company, Industry and International/National codes and standards within our Inspection Department.

TASKS:
To develop appropriate knowledge, understanding and attitude towards Quality matters to facilitate continuous improvement across the business.
To assist with ensuring that the Total Management System (TMS) reflects business processes, objectives and needs efficiently.
Assist in the review, amendment and creation of procedures as legislative, industry/international/national standards or best practice changes occur.
To liaise with company personnel, on and offshore, to assist and give guidance on matters related to Quality.
Assist in the development, monitoring and successful delivery of the company audit programmes.
Conduct internal and external audits in line with the company audit programmes.
To act as a lead in 2nd and 3rd party audits.
Assist teams with the timely close out of actions and preventative measures identified during audits and complaints ensuring sufficient evidence is presented to enable closure.
To promote a positive quality culture through effective communication, engagement and coaching.
To promote sharing of best practice and lessons learned.
To act as the HSEQ representative in the management of change process.
Act as a super user for quality related systems.
Assist in the vendor assessment, approval and monitoring process.
Identify areas of concern and report on quality problems as they arise, assisting in determining root causes and recommending corrective and preventative actions.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Proven track record in a similar role
Experience in fast paced work environment
Lead Auditor (preference ISO 9001)
Formal quality training/certification
Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17020, with good understanding accreditation/certification process.
Self-starter and team player
Relationship builder
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Strong customer delivery focus
