We Are currenlty recruiting on behalf of our Aberdeen based Oil and Gas Operator Client, for Project Environmental Advisor to join their team on a long-term contract basis.

The purpose of this position is to provide environmental support and expertise for the safe and timely delivery of a subsea bundle tieback and brownfield modification project. This support will be provided in both onshore and offshore locations in the UKCS and is in line with NPUL HSE&A objectives and targets as well as specific HSE team objectives and targets.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
.Conducts all activities in a safe and effective manner and raises safety and environmental issues immediately and in line with corporate policy.

.Undertakes the role in line with corporate policy and demonstrates behaviours in line with The Companys values at all times. Readily accepts accountability.

.Carries out duties in a way that maximises value and minimises waste and risk.

.Develop and implement environmental regulatory engagement strategy with map of compliance requirements
.Produce schedule of environmental consent and permit deliverables for progressing each phase of the project
.Implement the processes required for HSE&A compliance including safety case requirements.
.Identifying appropriate scopes and securing services for major environmental requirements of the project
.Ensure that relevant environmental permit and consent applications or variations are prepared, recorded and submitted to the regulator and followed up (as appropriate).
.Ensure that the relevant data relating to permits and consents is compiled, recorded, distributed and submitted to relevant bodies.
.Collaboration with HSE&E team to assure project requirements and milestones are delivered.
.Facilitate the completion of actions identified by regulator inspections/investigations.
.Attend project daily calls, weekly/monthly HSE&A meetings, etc.; in particular adhere to MCRS process
.Support & participate in the Incident Investigation process and monitor quality of reports and follow-up actions.
.Conduct visits in support of improving environmental performance and maintaining effective workforce engagement.
.Contribute to the development of a risk based & costed annual HSE&A Plan for environmental activities. Maintain the Plan and execute its requirements.
.Carry out or assist with offshore/onshore environmental audits/inspections, compile reports and ensure that actions are followed up as appropriate.
.Provide performance data and attend and contribute to relevant team, departmental and company meetings.
.Participate in industry work groups that are required to support the project
.Provide support in the development and roll out of environmental campaigns

.Collaborates with others in the team and looks for opportunities to leverage their network and work with others to develop safe, practical and effective solutions

.Health, Safety, Environmental or Risk degree or equivalent
.Additional Health, Safety or Environmental qualification (e.g. NEBOSH, IEMA or equivalent.)
.Offshore Survival Certificate.
.Offshore Medical

.10 Years Minimum Relevant experience working in the environmental field within the Oil & Gas industry.
.Excellent working knowledge of the principles of offshore environmental legislation.
.Demonstrable experience of the successful delivery and execution of project environmental milestones in drilling and brownfield projects
.Excellent communication, organisational and facilitation skills.
.Environmental Auditing or inspection experience and/or qualifications
.IT literate - good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Powerpoint software.
.Strong team player who is also capable of producing quality work on an individual basis.
