Our client, a leading international service provider to the oil and gas production and processing industry are seeking an Operations Team Leader. This is a permanent position based in Aberdeen.

The Operations Team Leader will manage and coordinate the Operations Team to deliver a proactive logistics service in support of Operations & Maintenance Department. They will drive initiatives in the delivery team and throughout the organisation that will contribute to long term excellence.

Experience/Personal Attributes:

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a supervisory role and operational experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
Excellent leadership skills who has the ability to influence and negotiate.
Excellent time management.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Highly organised individual with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
Proven people management skills.
Computer literate preferably with Oracle experience.

Duties will include, but not limited to the following:

Ensuring all operations activities are in compliance with applicable processes.
Ensuring consistent integrity of the personnel and operations databases.
Ensuring all offshore personnel are competent and have met required training standards.
Planning, resourcing and executing work to achieve contract deliverables.
Effectively communicate performance objectives to operations team members and ensure each individual can contribute to organisational success.
Ensuring contract compliance is followed which includes, financial controls, KPI performance metrics and BMS processes.
Participating in Emergency Response Team.
