Raeburn are currently handling a 6 month contract for an Onshore Occupational Health Advisor to join our Oil and Gas Operator client in Aberdeen.

The Onshore OH Advisor will have experience and sound knowledge in occupational health management practices accompanied by a working knowledge of offshore OH issues.
The role is primarily to ensure the provision of occupational health support and advice to the onshore and offshore business.

Job Duties/ Responsibilities:

- Liaise with the offshore OH Advisors on a daily basis - provide support and specialist advice.
- Provide direct liaison with Medical Advisor on all health related matters.
- Provide specialist advice on all OH related matters - medical related matters, COSHH, Noise and vibration, water quality, manual handling, food hygiene, Lead, Mercury, Benzene and radiation (not limited to).
- Liaise with Regulators (HSE-OSD and BEIS) as appropriate in support of Inspection & Investigation
- Act as focal point for OH advice/support to offshore assets and the onshore inter-related business functions (e.g. Supply Chain, Subsea, Technical Services, HR) within the Company.
- Provide support/guidance to the Offshore HSEA Supervisors, Onshore EHS Advisors & Onshore Incident & Assurance Advisors
- Engage with offshore/ onshore personnel and key contractors on improving HSE performance in line with agreed asset/department annual HSE Improvement Plans.
- Support audit & monitoring activities.
- Develop and review UKMS Occ Health related documentation. Develop supporting implementation and training plans.
- Engage with Contractors & participate in Contractor ITTs and performance reviews as may be required.
- Support and participate in HSEA seminars and conferences
- Participates in industry work groups.
- Direct liaison with HR to provide Active case management advice.


- Degree in Nursing (desirable) OR relevant Offshore Medic industry experience.
- Degree in Occ Health - Part 3 of the NMC register (SCPHN) (desirable) OR other relevant experience
- NEBOSH qualified
