Our prestigious Client, an international service provider to the Oil and Gas production and processing industry are currently seeking Offshore Metering Technicians for staff positions in the UKCS. The role and its responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:-

Applications are invited from candidates having a proven track record in operating and maintaining offshore measurement systems.
The successful candidates will carry out daily checks of all offshore measurement stations and analysis of alarms and events.
Experience of handling and preparation of any key meters, analytical equipment and or secondary instrumentation for return to calibration laboratories for testing, verification and or calibration would be highly advantageous.
The successful candidate will be experienced in the execution of work as per the plan generated by the onshore support Engineer, and the generation of permits and isolation certification for controlled and safe working.
Candidates must have experience in the review of SORs, FDS and project specifications for metering system equipment and instrumentation requiring offshore user input.
The responsibilities shall include reporting and liaising with the Client Production Supervisor, Maintenance Supervisor and onboard Client representative.
Ensuring that all measurement and test equipment is in good working order and fit for purpose and any defects reported.
The successful incumbent will be involved in non-routine maintenance of all technical, environmental, allocation, process analysers and Custody Transfer measurement system equipment including breakdown support.
Candidates must be educated to vocational level and SVQ or HNC / HND will be highly advantageous when considering this role.
This is an offshore position, therefore all current offshore certification including MEDICAL, BOSIET, CA-EBS, FIT TO TRAIN and VANTAGE must be valid and copies provided on request.
2/3 or 3/3 rotations.
