We are currently recruiting for our Tullos based Oil & Gas client for a Materials Analyst to join their team on a 6 month Contract basis.

Main activities include;
Provision of Materials Management (MM) expertise, on the frontline
Delivery of all Facility Material Management requirements, including:
-Input to the Work Scheduling and Planning processes
-E2E management of repair orders
-Support turnarounds, pit stops, unplanned shutdowns & outages
-Responsibility for Material Availability and Materials on Time performance
-Appropriate mitigation of Facility priorities, threats and opportunities

Delivery of cost effective supply chain solutions by:
-Proactively challenging demand, specification, cost and advising suitable sourcing strategy options, including re-use of surplus
-Escalation of supplier performance matters to CP Leads and Contract Holders
-Contributing to business performance reviews
-Effective implementation of Material Management and CP Processes, including promoting appropriate use of Material Masters, avoidance of generics
-Escalation of RTP process and system issues

Effective collaboration with key stakeholders including:
-Offshore personnel
-Onshore Maintenance and Engineering teams
-Contract Management teams
-C&P (Contract Specialists, Buyer/Expeditors, RtP)
-Logistics and Warehouse
-IAP

Continuous Improvement coach, delivering sustainable improvement opportunities
Demonstrating safety leadership by making suitable interventions and undertaking site visits

Skills and Requirements

-Caring and strong team-member that is also able to function independently when co-located within other business teams

-Proven ability in development and maintenance of effective, influencing relationships across a wide range of stakeholders
-Track record in data analysis is strongly preferred, together with experience in use of data to influence business decisions
-Demonstrable track record in generating/implementing ideas that result in continuous improvement
-Delivering commercial solutions with speed and simplicity
-Proven and sustained experience of Material Management processes and systems is strongly preferred for this role. These include:
-SAP-IM and SAP-MM to control material and warehouse activities
-Material Master and Bill of Material processes

Proven track record of coaching peers in processes and continuous improvement

SUKEP Materials Management (MM) comprises a team of Material Analysts that are co-located in the business and Inventory Analysts that sit within CP. They work closely with a third team of Materials Buyers/Expeditors who ensure that procurement of materials is efficiently carried out.
