Our client are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a permanent role based at their terminal near Manchester. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for planning and co-ordinating all terminal maintenance work to ensure safe, efficient and continuous terminal operations.

Major Duties:
1) Lead & manage assigned personnel - supervise, develop, manage welfare & effectiveness.
2) Support the development & delivery of the terminal engineering & maintenance philosophy, standards, policies, procedures and systems.
3) Meet performance measures, statutory & management reporting.
4) Champion continuous E&M improvements & Management of Change.
5) Complete audits and monitor processes for effectiveness.
6) Liaise with Terminal Manager & P66 Engineering to agree project schedules & required E&M support for the company & P66 managed Projects.
7) Ensure effective documentation & systems maintenance of all E&M activities including engineering, maintenance & project files; maintenance & updating of Q4 MMS & the asset register & critical spares list.
8) Effectively plan, justify & control assigned capital & revenue budgets and associated projects.
9) Provide engineering & maintenance guidance and support for all major terminal events/incidents including commissioning, outage, plant shut down, unplanned & planned events, incidents & projects.
10) Support and deliver outcomes from cross business strategy groups ensuring technical knowledge is shared.
11) As required, deputise for other terminal personnel.
12) As required, provide out of hours and emergency call out support.

1) Contributions/experience in an engineering or maintenance environment in a 24/7 continual process.
2) Knowledge of methods, materials & equipment used in servicing, repairing & maintaining plant.
3) Maintenance planning process & documentation.
4) SHE systems including permit to work issuing & accepting.
5) Contractor & contract management.
6) Project management.
7) PSSRs, legislative, best practice standards & insurance compliance.
8) Meeting team performance targets.
9) Work experience in a fuel operation environment (desirable)
10)Terminal operations (desirable)

Qualifications & Professional Accreditation:
1) HNC/HND equivalent in engineering discipline.
2) Team Leading/supervisory qualification (desirable)
3) Mechanical Apprenticeship (desirable)
