Raeburn are handling an exciting new opportunity to join an Oil and Gas operator client based in Aberdeen.

This role would be responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of planned and corrective maintenance (and inspection) activities for the operated assets and leading the onshore maintenance support team.

Major Challenges
§ A relentless focus to move away from a typical reactive support organisation; fix forever, not forever fixing.
§ Oversight and support of maintenance activities on a number of different assets at different stages of their lifecycle (late-life, decommissioning, full production).
§ Ensuring demonstrable delivery and optimisation of maintenance (and inspection) activities to support asset integrity and reliability whilst ensuring the basic requirements are met, embedded and consistent.
§ Effective performance management and engagement with 3rd parties and vendors.
§ Effective and visible prioritization of support activities across the operated assets.

Qualifications
Preferred:
§ Degree plus relevant operational and maintenance management/delivery experience.

Optional:
§ HNC/HND or equivalent with sufficient accumulated experience in a defined and relevant discipline.
§ Additional qualification(s) in maintenance & reliability an advantage.

Skills / experience:
§ Experience with oil and gas operations (topsides and subsea) and associated equipment classes and corresponding risks from a technical and practical stand-point.
§ Experience with operational maintenance management, delivery and optimisation. Sound appreciation of general maintenance, inspection and repair activities and techniques. Familiar with project/developments/operations and typical oil company processes.
§ Awareness of brownfield modification process(s) in North Sea.

Knowledge (e.g. systems, software, procedures, regulations):
§ UK HSE Legislation, in particular offshore regulations.
§ Recognised technical codes and standards.
§ Management of Change within an operational environment.
§ Typical maintenance management and reliability processes/workflows in an operational environment, including appropriate performance measurement.

Additional Role Requirements
§ The successful candidate must be qualified and able to regularly visit the client's offshore locations including any outsourced duty-holder assets.
§ The role will be required to participate as Emergency Response Duty Manager on a rotational basis.
