Raeburn Recruitment have a part time opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator. This is a 6 month contract role, working 3 days per week, for our Oil & Gas client in Hull.

Reporting to the Logistics Manager the role of the Logistics Coordinator is to provide daily operational support to the Operations and Project Departments for all Logistic activities including but not limited to the booking and scheduling of flights, processing of passengers and freight and the management of passengers details in Vantage system. Working with the project team to ensure stores and transporting of offshore materials is achieved within agreed time frames The Logistics Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimisation of contracted aviation, marine and warehousing resources to provide a safe, cost efficient service.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Obtain names and process personnel and freight for offshore travel on a daily basis for Operations and Project user groups
- Update the tracking systems run within the team
- Update Personnel details and certification details on Vantage system
- Liaise closely with Helicopter, Marine and Warehouse Service Providers
- Liaise offshore OIMs and Logistic team to maximise use of contracted schedules
- Develop Scheduled and Festive Season flying and sailing programs and conduct regular reviews of requirements to ensure efficient cost effective service
- Provide emergency response cover as part of the rota

KEY DELIVERABLES:
- Delivery of logistical services in a safe and cost effective manner
- Maximise use of contracted services for the offshore teams
- Effective Logistical Schedules
- Effective aircraft and seat utilisation

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Qualified to min HND level desirable
- Member of relevant professional organisation e.g. CIPS/NEVI desirable
- Minimum 5 years' experience within Oil and Gas
- Sound commercial awareness and up-to-date knowledge of industry/regulatory contracting practices
- Experienced user of Vantage
