Our client a leading International Industriall services provider is seeking to recruit an Internal Control Systems Officer (ICS) to be based in their offices in the Bridge of Don.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for process and controls in the scope of ICS, ensuring that the entity controls are implemented enforced and in line with group and statutory requirements.

TASKS:
Contact person for Control Design, Division ICS Officer and local Management
Responsible for implementation of ICS methodology at the Group unit under consideration of the local situation
Responsible for coordination and execution of control self-assessments at the Group unit
Update ICS Register with nominated Process and Control Owners
Communicate testing schedule and requirements to the Process and Control Owners
Selection of samples for testing or validation of the conclusions drawn by the Process & Control Owners
Validation of testing results from Process and Control Owners
Identification of risks and implementation of entity specific controls. Consolidation of the final assessment at Group unit level
Inform Group unit Management and the Division ICS Officer about key deficiencies
Report testing results to the Group unit Management, the Division ICS Officer and Control Design
Support Process and Control Owner in the development of a remediation plan in the event of control deficiencies
Convey remediation plan to the Division ICS Officer and Control Design and monitor the implementation

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Experienced within the industry, audit or consulting
Experience in the implementation of management systems
Change Management know-how
Successfully concluded study of business administration or a comparable education
Well-founded knowledge of internal control systems, their application and valuation
Know-how in the standards of COSO and SOX
Very good communication skills in order e.g. to set up regional networks or to execute trainings
Strong assertiveness and independent working approach
