Our client, a leading international industrial services provider now has an immediate requirement for an experience inspection project engineer to join their team on a staff basis. Candidates must have previous experience in a similar role to be considered for this position.

The Project Engineer is responsible for the management, planning and organisation of NDT and Inspection activities associated with Offshore & Onshore Assets, ensuring that all Client and Companys operational, commercial and HSEQ expectations and targets are met.

Manage site inspection teams to ensure compliance and delivery of all services in line with contractual terms and conditions
Responsible for the management, planning and organisation of NDT and Inspection activities associated with Offshore & Onshore Assets
Manage and support the site teams on a daily basis and ensure effective interfaces between Inspection team and the Client site
Ensure effective implementation of new working practices and procedures
Responsible for all aspects relating to Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality and Competency, in delivery of Inspection services
Responsible for the recruitment, training, competency and development of onsite personnel
Ensure operations are carried out in accordance with agreed plans and that anything outside those plans are identified and managed appropriately
Act as the Inspection site representative for all operational delivery issues
Develop an awareness of customer needs and implement strategies and systems to meet those needs
Conduct offshore/onshore visits to enhance the working relationships between the onshore support team and offshore platform staff
Provide support with respect to the development and implementation of New Technology.
Report against Key Performance Indicators as required.
Lever opportunities for growth both organically and through the introduction of other Service streams.

Experience within a similar role
Experience of Inspection within a relevant process industry
Ability to interpret commonly used engineering drawings and data sets in support of inspection activities
Knowledge of the uses of commonly applied NDT techniques
Knowledge of disciplines(scaffolding, painting, insulation) would be advantageous
An Engineering degree or qualification to HND/HND level would be desirable
