Raeburn are recruiting for an HR Generalist on a 12 month contract basis (Maternity Cover).


- Offshore recruitment within a fast-paced environment and any associated admin
- Previous experience as an HR Administrator
- Good experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience in note-taking for disciplinaries and grievances
- Experience booking medicals would be advantageous


- Booking a high volume of OH appointments and medical renewals
- Assist the recruitment team with offshore recruitment as and when required including any admin and liaising with the Operations department and third party suppliers on recruitment matters
- Note-taking for disciplinary, grievance and HR meetings
- Assist with HR reporting
- Carry out inductions
- Oversee the preparation and administration of Contracts of Employment for payroll employees and Assignment Agreements for Impatriates and Expatriates.
- Department admin eg maintaining HR records and personnel files, both electronically and paper-copy, and keeping abreast of GDPR


- Monitor and review Company Work Instruction, General Procedures and Forms, updating where necessary in line with company policy and UK legislation, ensuring compliance with Company and Corporate procedures.
- Contribute to the creation of Company Work Instruction, General Procedure and Forms as required, and to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices in the organisation.
- Contribute to the creation and updating of the HR Plan and Online planning tool to reflect accurately the requirements needed for Aberdeen division to maintain a fit for purpose workforce.
- Ensure department heads are familiar with the requirements of the Companys performance evaluation system and are informed of objective setting / performance evaluation guidelines.
- Ensure objectives are set for all onshore personnel and that these are assessed at the end of the evaluation period and evaluation scores are entered into the HR database.
- Assist with the HR Reports required by the London office and Corporate undertaking periodic quality checks and audits for compliance.
- Maintain regular checks of the HR files and processes to ensure compliance with corporate governance.
- Carry out any other ad hoc duties as required by the HR Supervisor.
