Raeburn are handling a long term contract opportunity for an oil and gas client based in Aberdeenshire.

· Manage the delivery of a cost effective, best practice, quality FM service to the UK business covering all office/base sites as required.
· Manage directly the location Facilities Co-ordinator(s)
· Manage contracts for services and productive working relationships with all FM contractors on all UK sites. This includes: -
Directing essential central services such as : building maintenance (Hard and M&E) - planned and ad hoc repairs; operational security arrangements; catering; cleaning; mailroom; waste disposal; recycling; space management and coordination of all office moves and alterations; and in-house events planning and delivery e.g. BBQs/ Trade events/Conference and Training
· Maintain a suitable, legally complaint, secure and safe working environment for employees/contractors/visitors and all business activities conducted on sites on 24/7 basis.
· To supervise the day to day facilities budget spend, contracts and invoicing whilst driving efficiency, reducing operating costs as appropriate and increasing productivity in service provision
· To participate in and support Emergency Response, HSE and Business Continuity exercises and events as well as maintain building evacuation procedures and drills.
· Contribute to the development of facilities planning activities associated with new locations or new country entry activities and project manage any associated building development works as required
· Ensure that all insurances, HSE and legal certifications for all facilities are maintained and up to date in collaboration with SCM/Legal/Corporate Insurance
· Undertake any other facilities related projects as required by senior management


· NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent
· Proven and significant track record in supervision/management within FM contracts in a similar position
· A full understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and building services preferably from a technical background
· The ability to understand and scrutinise technical detail and mechanical drawings
· An understanding of current Health and Safety codes of practice including L8, manual handling, working at height etc
· Risk Assessment and Method Statements analysis
· Understanding of Building management processes and procedures
· Building Services or an engineering qualification preferred
· Business Continuity experience and membership of BCI
