Our Client, an independent power and energy consultancy providing expert advice in developing energy strategy, assessing commercial aspects and engineering support for energy projects around the world, are currently seeking a highly experienced Engineering Manager for a contract role in the UK. The role and its responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:-

A robust and proven track record as an Engineering Manager within the Oil and Gas industry is essential when considering this vacancy.
The successful incumbent must have experience of onshore, brownfield projects including Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and Execution Phase Contracts (EPC).
Candidates with recent knowledge and experience of onshore compression project management experience are invited to apply.
The successful candidate will be a passionate and strong leader and a highly experienced Engineer within construction and commissioning.
Extensive domestic travel will be required for this role, therefore the Client are looking for suitable candidates with flexibility and a willingness to travel to meet the needs of the business.
Recent and extensive exposure to the UKCS is a prerequisite for this role.
The role will include the ability to deal at Operator level as well as liaising with multiple Clients.
Only candidates having a minimum of 15 years relevant experience within Engineering, Project Management and the execution of Oil & Gas Projects will be given due consideration by the Client.
Knowledge and experience of budget control, project & resource management, Engineering operations and performance management will be required from the successful incumbent.
Candidates must be educated to Degree level within a recognised Engineering discipline and proof must be provided on demand.
Contract position initially for 12 months but may be extended to meet the needs of the business.
