Our client is a Service company looking to hire a Communications and Marketing Executive on a fixed term 12 month contract to be based either in Aberdeen. Therefore suitable candidates will be based in or near Aberdeen.

Due to the nature of the role, only those with the Right to Work in the UK should apply. Raeburn do not have the ability to provide visa sponsorship, therefore current valid ability to work in the UK is required.

Tasks:
1) Develops and implements external communications
2) Enhances leadership visibility, maintains consistent communication infrastructure and supports change initiatives
3) Manages media management co-ordination and acts as local spokesperson and provides support to leadership on media response
4) Leads communications role for emergency response exercises or events
5) Ensures that a robust crisis communications plan is in place and that all tools meet regulatory requirements and are integrated with the corporate-wide plan
6) Designs and develops materials highlighting business priorities, including internal briefing notes, key messages, project plans and timelines, content outlines, presentations, corporate publications, newsletter stories, news releases, fact sheets, speeches and/or speaking points
7) Ensures content on the pages of Company intranet and external website is current and appropriate
8) Works collaboratively with Corporate Communications
9) Develops and manages events calendar
10) Company lead for Charitable Donations and Sponsorships.

Qualifications and experience:
1) Previous experience within similar role essential
2) Familiar with organising and managing marketing and communications campaigns
3) Experience in crisis communications essential
4) Media relations experience essential
5) Bachelors degree in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or similar field essential
6) Strong written and oral communication and excellent presentation skills essential with the ability to work under pressure
7) Must be proficient in design/editing programs - Adobe Create Suite
