Raeburn Group Limited are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, hardworking and professional Business Development and Proposals Coordinator to join their Aberdeen team.

This role will primarily focus on coordinating business development activities along with the administrative and technical aspects of Raeburn Recruitment and Raeburn Healthcare’s tendering process.  The role will actively oversee the efficient and compliant execution of all tendering activities in accordance with Raeburn Group Limited’s standards and required timescales.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop new business activities across all core markets including Oil and Gas, Construction, Rail, Energy and Healthcare sectors

Proactively call and communicate with clients identified as development opportunities, arrange meetings and secure new business for Raeburn

To be forthcoming in identifying and communicating with potential new Clients

Proactively arrange, minute and coordinate actions for internal Business Development meetings

Assist with new Client meetings including set up, preparation and follow up

Where required, to attend new Client meetings

To effectively give, receive and record communications

Coordinate the tender’s process from the prequalification stage through to the final bid submission, award of contract and engagement close out ensuring all responses are on time

To manage and distribute new tender notifications in line with Raeburn’s procedures

Collate all necessary documentation required as part of the tendering and contracts process including information on successful and unsuccessful post tender feedback

Act as the main point of contact between Raeburn Group Limited and tendering clients ensuring all queries are dealt with in a timely manner

To prepare regular status updates and feedback on ongoing tendering and evaluation activities

To ensure that all completed tender submissions are of the best possible response in terms of accuracy,  content, completeness and demonstrated added value

To allocate, set up and document control proposals and bids

Applicants must have:

Previous experience in a Business Development and Proposals role

Previous experience working within the Raeburn Group Limited’s sectors

Commercial awareness and practical experience

Demonstrated ability to generate own business

Proven success of client account management and client relations

IT and technology literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Excellent written and oral communication skills in addition to presentation skills

Diligent and confident manner

Customer service focussed and orientated

Highly self-motivated, enthusiastic and driven to succeed

Willingness and ability to travel to Aberdeen (and other Client locations)

Professional and presentable appearance
