Raeburn Recruitment are assisting an independent Oil & Gas Operator with a requirement for a Business Management Systems (BMS) Improvement Project Manager. This is a contract opportunity and will be based in London with opportunities for travel.

This is a unique opportunity to join an exciting project which will allow you to directly impact the operating rhythm of the company. You will be responsible for leading the company-wide simplification and adoption of the BMS and creating simpler and more consistent ways of working. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Confirming the project objectives, activity planning and simplification principles and ensuring the project team is suitably resourced
- Ensuring each corporate function develops a suitable prioritised and resourced implementation plan to simplify their management system and coach them through the implementation of their plan through the project.
- Coaching document owners in authoring, simplifying, amalgamating or eliminating BMS documents; editing documents themselves where necessary or securing resources to do so.
- Working with each Business Unit (BU) to define an end-state simplified local management system that aligns with the simplified corporate management system and local regulatory requirements
- Ensuring the underlying BMS IT infrastructure is enhanced to support a simplified BMS and promote adoption.
- Monitoring project progress and reporting to senior stakeholders.

To be considered for this role you will ideally be:
- Experienced in leading complex change or transformation projects, ideally related to management system development or simplification. Experience in auditing or reviewing the effectiveness of management systems (and the underlying policies, standards and procedures.)
- Highly skilled at authoring, critically reviewing and implementing policies, standards and procedures that are suitable for their intended purpose with an ability to engage and coach line managers to do the same.
- Familiar with regulatory requirements with respect to management systems.
- Willing and able to lead and manage the project as well as take a hands-on attitude with assisting managers in the development and reviewing of policies and procedures.

The role will be based in London, but will require travel to different Business Unit locations
