We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, an Oil & Gas Operator Client in the city centre, for an Administration Assistant/Buyer to join their team on a contract basis until the end of June.

The candidate will be required to carry out the following:
- Raise Purchase Orders from Purchase Reqs.
- Run Expediting Report Daily and Share.
- Schedule In Deliveries to Meet TAR Targets / Delivery Dates.
- Expedite Orders.
- Approve/Dispute/Reject Invoices.
- Amend & Update POs (Qty changes, description changes, part number changes).
- Expediting Notes to be a Summary of Status with Date and Initials.
- Liaise With Suppliers Via Email & Phone.
- Expedite Business Analysts & Engineers.
- Prioitise POs.
- Respond Urgently to Air Freight Requests.
- Politely Put Pressure on Suppliers To Meet & Exceed Expectations.
- Resolve Packing Spec Queries, Vendor Return Queries, Proof of Delivery Disputes.
- Raise NCRs.
- Attend Supplier Meetings SAP knowledge Preferred.
- SAP Experience Required

Administrative Duties:
Provides administrative support to an individual or office. Supplies information, maintains files, schedules appointments, produces correspondence and otherwise relieves officials of minor administrative and business detail. Requires a high school diploma with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
