Senior Front-end Process Engineer

Our client is a leading Oil and Gas operator to recruit a Senior Front-end Process Engineer to work on an initial 12 month contract. Job Description -see guidance notes, be specific, provide details of Roles/Resp, Quals, Competencies : - Company: Shell UK Exploration & Production Position: Senior Front-end Process Engineer Location: • Based in Shell’s SFH Office • 40 hours a week Role: • To undertake feasibility and conceptual selection studies on new developments in Shell UK’s CNNS Asset in the North Sea. • Work within a multi-discipline team maturing projects through Shell’s Opportunity Realisation Process. • Undertake studies, or as necessary, scope and manage front-end studies sub-contracted out to 3rd party study contractors; • Potentially also manage front-end project delivery integrating subsurface and surface disciplines. Experience Needed: • 10 years process engineering experience, preferably with experience of front-end study work; • Experience of flow assurance studies; • Experience with using HYSYS (Unisim) and Pipesim. Familiarity with OLGA; • North sea experience is a key attribute. Qualifications Needed: • Degree in Chemical Engineering; • Preference for membership of I.Chem.E. Duration: • Initially 1 year, with potential to extend beyond that timescale.
