Job title: Application Support Analyst (Drilling) An Application Support Analyst is required to support the Drilling department and in particular to support the EDM (OpenWells) Drilling Suite. The core accountabilities for this position are to provide efficient and effective support to the Drilling business community and take proactive measures to ensure that business system services are non interrupted and available as designed. Essential: The ideal candidate will have considerable experience in supporting the EDM Drilling Suite or other Drilling packages. Desirable Skills: Excellent knowledge of OpenWells and the EDM Suite Application Support experience within the Oil & Gas Industry, specifically Drilling. Solid understanding of the EDM data model and Drilling data Good experience of the Oracle Database Good knowledge of Drilling and Drilling processes Ability to debug to replicate errors and determine solutions Proven technical ability to be able to upgrade EDM Suite Knowledge of Citrix Experience of the rig commissioning and decommissioning process Essential: Oil Industry experience, specifically within Drilling or Well. Strong client support and service delivery mindset. Calm manner and ability to work within a high pressured department. Good interface skills and ability to articulate problems and follow-up with Landmark Support. Communications & Work relationships (interacts with who and for what reason) Primary focal point for Drilling Department Reports to head of Business Support Interacts closely with the Infrastructure Team Interfaces closely to Landmark Support Please note, we prefer to receive your CV as a Microsoft Word document as our system gives priority to applications in this format.
