Our client is currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Manager - Systems & Processes on a permanent basis in Portlethen, Aberdeenshire.

Job Purpose:
To lead the core support for systems and processes in the extended SCM organisation, The SCM Systems & Process is responsible for driving system & process improvements, engaging governance tools to ensure system functionality and processes are followed and for delivering a SCM support service to the user community including support desk capability, master data maintenance, training and KPI development & monitoring.

Dimensions:
As one of the leading onshore and offshore drilling and engineering contractors, with responsibility for rigs in over 20 countries worldwide, the SCM System & Process is the Business Process Owner for all SCM systems and related processes.
The role is pivotal in governing compliance to Company Standards and to drive system and process enhancements specific to delivering efficiencies within the Supply Chain.
The client annually spends in excess of $700M, the geographical locations and the challenges of maintaining 24 hour operations dictate the need for highly effective, usable systems, capable of reaching all operations and supporting all functions..
Responsible for a staff of 14 with 5 Direct Reports

Skills/Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum Qualifications:

Educated to degree level:
Minimum 5 years of technology enabled training and development experience in the Oil and Gas industry preferably with an Operator, Drilling Contractor or Service Company.

Experience:
Experience of ERP platforms and architecture, preferably full SAP project lifecycle.
Must be able to demonstrate leading the design, development and deployment of SAP MM training, (including Remote Logistics Management, Warehouse Management, Purchasing, Inventory Management).
Demonstrate Supply Chain knowledge and previous process design experience.
Ability to lead training teams across multiple geographical locations.
Knowledge of change management principles and methodologies.
Networks, building relationships to collect and give information, building support and securing buy-in for desired objectives.
Ability to influence others and move to a common vision.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrate solid analytical judgement.
Project management experience for medium sized projects required.
