Raeburn are looking to speak with financial candidates for a 12 month fixed term contract based with an oil and gas service company on the South side of Aberdeen

Job Purpose:
- Daily Treasury Operations.
- Monitoring of bank account balances and movements - management of bank account positions.
- Utilisation of TM5 Treasury system to maintain accurate records and produce any required reporting.
- Funding of daily payments across the Group including overseas subsidiaries.
- Proposing and placement of daily swap deals.
- Posting of banking entries within SAP system.

External Banking Relationships:
- Issuing, monitoring and recording of bank guarantees and LCs - liaise with Business Units to assess their client requirements (current and future).
- Attendance at bi-weekly cash call to update senior team on guarantee status (includes production of guarantee reporting).
- Interact with banks to ensure all requirements are met in full - provide all information as requested taking a proactive approach to maintaining a current database.
- Opening and Closing of Bank Accounts.
- Attendance at Bank meetings as required.
- Assistance with bank compliance reporting as required.

Month End Analysis:
- Production and analysis of month end FX report utilising SAP and excel models.
- Intercompany netting using TM5 and SAP (integrated SAP programme).
- Bank reconciliations using Blackline system.
- Produce month end net debt and interest analysis.

Treasury Project Work:
- FX analysis - cash flow forecasting.
- TM5 utilisation and further development.

Planning & Organising:
- Excellent project management skills required with very strong time management and prioritisation necessary.

Internal & External Relationships:
- Good relationships required with external banks, internal business units and capacity to interact at senior level.

Most Challenging Aspects of the Job:
- High degree of reliance placed on the individual - job deals with high value real cash / LC items hence individual needs to be comfortable with high level of responsibility.

Skills/Qualifications & Experience:
- Candidate must be a self-starter and be a confident individual able to interact at senior level and develop a good internal & external banking network.
- Accuracy is fundamental and the ability to be a safe pair of hands within the team is critical.
- Ownership of tasks and the capability to independently bring these to completion is key.
- Demonstration of flexibility and the capacity to communicate effectively both internally and externally.
- Ability to assess when items require escalation and to do so on a timely basis.
- A highly organised individual with ability to multi task, plan and work to deadline within a team.
- The Treasury department has a number of projects ongoing - there is a huge opportunity for a driven individual to own and shape these projects.
