Raeburn work hand-in-hand with our clients to ensure the smooth mobilisation / demobilisation, management and control of all agency workers based onshore and offshore in the UK and overseas. Managing Emergency Response, Evacuation & Repatriation:
All emergencies are treated as a priority and Raeburn understand fully the role our company management play in supporting such events. Any such occurrence is dealt with and managed by our Emergency Response Team, who at all times take our direction and information from the client and police force handling the incident at the time.
Raeburn operates 24 / 7, 365 days per annum and provides emergency support and contact telephone numbers and details for all ‘out of office hours’ emergencies. The Raeburn Emergency Response Team members have full training and access to the Raeburn database and the Next of Kin contact details required in such circumstances.
Raeburn have experience dealing in emergency situations having operated an emergency response policy for many years and working with many large organisations we have successfully delivered this procedure when required. Raeburn management have been involved in regular ‘training emergency situations’ with clients and are fully conversant with the process.
Evacuation & Repatriation:
Raeburn provide on the ground management and carry the most up-to-date insurance cover to ensure the most effective medical, evacuation and repatriation of our agency workers from our client’s work locations. Equally important is Raeburn’s understanding and appreciation of the benefits of effective communication between our Client Account Management Teams and our client in the event of operational requirements. Raeburn’s Emergency Response Team fully understand our responsibilities and reporting lines and are experienced in ensuring we are ready and available with 24/7 support for our client’s Management Team, taking our direction from them at all times.
Managing Local Country Tax Requirements:
Raeburn are very experienced in compliance with UK and non-UK tax regimes to deliver financially risk free platforms for our clients, our agency workers and Raeburn.
As a specialist provider of project and operations personnel to International Industry since 1981, Raeburn and our management teams have proven experience in the fields of international visas, work permits, desert passes, payroll, taxation and social costs management in the following countries.
Raeburn partner with major Tax Advisors to support us in various worldwide locations to ensure total compliance of company registration, income taxation and social taxation within our countries of operation. Raeburn retain these services to ensure we legally follow in-country legislation with respect to employment of expatriate and national personnel and especially with respect to the payment of statutory personal income and social tax. Where applicable, this extends to registering the contract with the local Tax Authorities.
In all cases Raeburn will, prior to delivering any services, meet with our clients to identify and agree key areas for concern and responsibility.
Managing Local Country Legislative Requirements:
Raeburn understand the need for complete compliance with in-country legislation and all visa/work permit regulations. To supplement our own experience Raeburn ensure up-to-date compliance by also retaining the services of an ‘in-country’ legal partner to advise on all aspects of national labour laws related to our client’s work and ensure that all required documentation is obtained and any concerns regarding compliance are addressed.
When recruiting talent from overseas for specific projects or ‘one off’ key positions Raeburn management discuss and agree the challenges which may be associated with these appointments and deliver to our clients a proposal for the required recruitment programme, ensuring we meet the specific requirements of each recruitment task, and always ensuring that both Raeburn and our clients are operating within the current visa/work permit legislation.
Managing Pre-Departure Immigration Requirements (including Medicals and Visas)
Our experienced Account Management Teams are specialised in providing support to our Agency Workers based both onshore and offshore, locally, nationally and internationally.
Before an Agency Worker begins work with one of our clients, Raeburn will provide the Agency Worker with full induction details prior to contract commencement / travel to international/offshore location. As well as issuing a Contract for Services, Raeburn also issue Client Specific Additional Terms & Conditions which include details of both Raeburn and the Client’s responsibilities in terms of Health & Safety, Site Inductions, Policies & Procedures and Additional Training.
